This 4 day course will provide intense “hands-on” training, dealing with difficult dogs. This course will be held at our facility in Red Deer with a maximum 14 participants, and will give attendees greater ability and confidence in:

  • Advanced self defense against single or multiple dog attacks
  • How and when to use barriers
  • Calming signals, Reading the dog and behavioral management
  • Loading and handling injured animals
  • Identifying communicable disease and protocol
  • How to testify in serious dog bite situations
  • Dog bite protocol
  • Defense tools and related options
  • Environmental safety management

The day is broken into two sessions (morning and afternoon), allowing lunch and coffee breaks. Each participant will receive a manual of the course, and a certificate of completion.
